Information for trainers

  • Foster Parent College online training is provided fully online, with participants working through modules at their own pace with the help of an online administrator. Note: To participate, you will need to have access to a computer with Internet access and speakers.
  • Groups are being established across the state to deliver the online training to carers. The department or licensed foster care service staff who are interested in being an online administrator can contact the Quality Out-of-Home Care Team.
  • In order to assess that each participant has completed the training to a satisfactory standard, the trainer or other approved support worker should consult the learning outcomes. A certificate can be generated online to record the completion of each module.
